Institutional Assessment and Analysis (IAA) is a unit within Planning and Assessment at BYU tasked with helping facilitate ongoing campus improvement by promoting and fostering a culture of assessment. IAA supports the assessment efforts of all campus units both academic and educational support.
Campus units can request IAA assistance with their own studies. Following a consultation, this often results in IAA's support in the development, administration, and reporting of custom web-based surveys based on the need and situation.
IAA efforts and resulting data are for internal BYU on-campus use only and are not publicly available. Individual faculty and student research are not supported. Requests for specific information for an academic unit (i.e., students, courses, enrollments, etc.) should be made through the registrar’s site (https://academicreporting.byu.edu/).
If you're looking for public BYU demographic data, statistics, or other publicly available information please refer to the Y Facts page or contact University Communications at (801) 422-4511.
